Subclass 190 Skilled Nominated Visa

Skilled Nominated visa(Subclass 190) is a permanent visa that allows workers to live and work in Australia. Subclass 190 is designed for those who have been nominated by a state or territory government in Australia. There are a number of criteria you must meet to be eligible. All of the criteria have been listed below:

Valid expression of interest
Invitation to apply
Age under 45 (unless you have an exemption)
Competent English skills
Qualified in one of the skills in skilled occupation list
Assessed qualification by relevant assessing body
Pass the minimum points test

There are few other criterias set by the State or Territory. It depends on different states and the criterias are:

Must be one of the occupation in state’s skilled occupations list
Must be suitable for state’s labor market
Must be an occupation in demand
Must stay in the state for longer period of time

Meeting all or most of these criteria makes you eligible for Subclass 190 Skilled Nominated visa. It takes around 6 months to process this visa.
